Today's big buy:

I was getting tired of using my phone to look up direction while I drove, so I've been looking for one of these for a while. Seems like a pretty sweet deal. Bought it for $99.99. List price is 249.99 and most other places have it for 129.99.

1/31/10 - First Buy!

I renewed my subscription to WIRED magazine for $4 for 12 months! Not a bad deal...

The site www.discountmags.com has some really good deals! I find most of them through slick deals.

Getting you up to speed

The reason I have to make this blog is because of my spending habits of the past. My kitchen has every gadget available on the market including my prize possession:

Which I purchased for $12. A steal? Yes. Will I ever use it? No, definitely not.

Just so you know what you are in for, here are some of my recent 2010 purchases:
  • 7 Bluray movies's - $30 shipped
  • 2 PS3 Games - $24 shipped (Unreal Tournament and NBA Street 3)
  • 2 Ipod usb chargers - $4.17 shipped
  • Backpacker and Outdoor Magazine subscription - $9 /yr

Currently in my amazon shopping cart:
  • All 5 seasons of Lost on Bluray for $120.

Please talk me out of it.

The Beginning of the end

Joe Dimaggio and Yao Ming stopped fighting long enough to convince me to start a blog to reveal to the public my ridiculous buying habits. I don't see anything wrong with buying a pair of 15 dollar night vision goggles, but to each his own.
